Neil Tanna, MD, MBA

Dr. Neil Tanna helps women transform their lives by restoring their form. Board-certified in plastic surgery, Dr. Tanna is an expert in microsurgery and reconstructive surgery; he is also an innovator in the field of breast reconstruction.

Dr. Tanna’s collaborative approach offers patients technologically advanced solutions and the best possible clinical outcomes. He strives to produce individualized, natural, and long-lasting results that match a patient’s desires and preferences.

A devotee of innovation, Dr. Tanna is dedicated to developing new techniques and methods for breast reconstructive surgery. He was on the team that successfully executed the first robotic mastectomy, in 2018, a procedure which has the potential to revolutionize the field of reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Tanna knows that spending time with patients is the best way to fully understand their goals and concerns, and he is committed to making each woman feel like she is the most important patient in the practice. His sense of humor and positive outlook help many women find hope during a challenging time in their lives.

Dr. Tanna is the Associate Program Director of Plastic Surgery at Northwell Health and the Medical Director of Syosset Surgi Center. He serves as a Professor of Surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Katherine Beam

Katherine (Katie) has been working with Dr. Tanna since 2017, caring for patients before, during, and after surgery. She is an excellent patient resource and strives to provide patients with optimal experiences as well as excellent outcomes. Katie believes strong relationships are based on communication and makes herself available to speak with patients whenever possible. She is an avid runner and yogi.

Brittany Corstange

Brittany loves connecting with our patients, whether she’s posting on social media or scheduling their surgery. Her job is to facilitate all aspects of the patient journey, starting with setting up the very first appointment. With a focus on education and compassion, Brittany provides patients with an individualized and personal experience. She is a fan of yoga, the Carolina Panthers, and spicy food.
