WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING YOU FEEL WHOLE AGAIN
Welcome to the Friedman Center—your home for all your breast reconstruction needs.
The Friedman Center was created specifically for women who have breast cancer or are at high risk for breast cancer, and offers comprehensive reconstructive and support services in a serene and comforting environment.
Our surgeons have decades of experience and lead the field in research and innovation, making us a premier destination for breast cancer reconstruction.
The Friedman Center was made possible by a member of the Friedman family who is passionate about helping individuals dealing with breast cancer, breast reconstruction, and cancer-related lymphedema. The Friedman Foundation has endowed Executive Director Dr. Mark L. Smith with the resources to support women in feeling whole again.
The Friedman Center is a Physician Partner of Northwell Health, the largest health system in New York State. Through this partnership, we offer patients a comprehensive breast reconstruction program, including access to vital resources and support that help women have the best outcomes and recoveries possible.
What drives us is simple: we want to provide you with the highest level of care and compassion. That means more than using cutting-edge techniques or even obtaining excellent clinical outcomes. We believe that every woman who walks through our doors should receive individualized care that addresses her as a unique and complex person.
That requires a different approach to care. As a patient, you’re our partner: we’re here to listen, help educate you about your options, and then work with you to choose the right reconstruction procedures. Along the way, we offer guidance, resources, and plenty of support.
