“At this point in my life, people say I’m more lively than I was before. You take a sad situation and you turn it positive.”

Carolann C.

Carolann received a breast cancer diagnosis when her two children were 8 and 11, and she found it challenging to manage two surgeries and many doctor’s visits in conjunction with her family’s busy lifestyle. But with the help of her physicians, Carolann was able to maintain a positive outlook throughout the entire reconstructive process. She had a double mastectomy to treat her cancer, followed by breast reconstruction with implants.
