Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 50. She opted for a double mastectomy, which gave her peace of mind about her own health and her ability to care for her family. For Jennifer, breast reconstruction was a personal choice. She selected the DIEP Flap procedure and, in the end, found her new breasts “beautiful.” She counsels other women to prioritize self-care during this difficult time.
